One Day Comic Mart?

 

The all time views for the Black Tower  blog stands at 155,629 over on Comic Bits Online the daily views(world wide) range from over 4000 to over 5000.  It means that all the BTCG books mentioned reached a very wide audience -that does not buy.  

I could understand if buying books involved international shipping (and that means import duty) but ordering from the online store the book is printed in the country/region it was ordered from and in the currency of that country and even postage etc is local. No international costs at all. 

So why is no one buying? That is a question a lot of Independent publishers are asking especially at a time when it is so easy to buy while sat in your chair.  I do know that in the past selling at events was more profitable and that is a reason why I am considering setting up a one day comic mart to test the waters and see how things go. Like most people I need to make money to pay bills so a mart seems the only option.   

I will keep everyone updated on how plans go.

It will be a comics and zines ONLY event so no badge or poster or other arts and crafts sellers.
